Man charged after suspected Class A drugs found in Birkenhead

A man has been charged after officers discovered over 60 wraps of suspected Class A drugs in Birkenhead.

On Saturday 3 September officers attending an address in the area searched a man inside the property and found over 60 wraps of suspected Class A drugs and a quantity of Class C drugs.

Paul Francis of Birkenhead, aged 51 was charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug (Cocaine and Heroin.) 

He was remanded into custody on Sunday 4 September, and appeared at Wirral Magistrates Court this morning.
