Cerebral palsy charity Stick ‘n’ Step is looking for local businesses to join its 365 Business Club, launched yesterday in Birkenhead.
Members of the club contribute £365 – £1 a day – towards the annual costs of running the charity.
- £365 covers the cost of an initial consultation for a new family to start their Stick ‘n’ Step journey.
- 10 new memberships (£3650) pay for classroom resources for a whole year.
- 40 new memberships (£14,600) enable two children to attend conductive education sessions at Stick ‘n’ Step for a whole year.
Sarah Johnson, Stick ‘n’ Step’s Head of Fundraising, said, “Many companies want to provide us with regular support but may find themselves restricted by a lack of time and resources. Our 365 Business Club makes giving easy with a donation of £365 a year or £30 per month.
“Every donation genuinely helps transform the lives of the children we support, enabling each of them to reach their personal potential and we are so grateful for every contribution.”
Stick ‘n’ Step provides free weekly conductive education sessions to children and young people with cerebral palsy up to the age of 25, allowing them to gain the skills they need to live more independent lives.
The charity relies on supporters and volunteers to help raise the £750,000 required to deliver its services to over 100 families each year at its Wallasey and Runcorn centres.
