Residents and staff at a Bebington nursing home invited local schools, St Andrews Church, and Beaver and Brownie groups to visit during the run-up to Christmas for the first time since before the pandemic.
The schools sang Christmas songs and the Brownies made Christmas crafts with the residents at Safe Harbour Nursing Home. Four Wirral Grammar students volunteered and joined in with all the festive activities.
Catherine Ball, Activities Coordinator said, “We have been overwhelmed with the support we have received from the children and all of their leaders taking the time to spread some Christmas cheer! and want to thank them all for making our Christmas so special.”
Registered Manager, Kevin Butterworth, said, ” We are so grateful for the support from Bebington and the surrounding areas.
“Our lovely ladies and gents plus relatives have been so thrilled with the festive visits we have had from local choirs, Wirral Grammar School, Birkenhead Sixth Form, Stanton Primary School, Brackenwood Primary School, Beavers and Brownies.
“This has really added to our Christmas fun and we are so lucky to be part of such a wonderful and caring community”
