List of mobile symptom-free COVID-19 testing locations in Wirral

Wirral Council continues its move toward a more flexible and targeted approach to testing as we move along the Government’s roadmap and restrictions ease.

This weekend will see the two symptom-free testing centres located in Greasby and Eastham libraries close at the end of testing on Sunday 9 May.

Testing will still take place at these locations when the mobile testing vehicle visits each week (see the schedule below for details) and people can still access regular symptom-free testing including collection of testing kits at:

  • Floral Pavilion, New Brighton, Mon-Fri 10.30am – 6.15pm (10.30am to 2.15pm on weekends from 15 May)
  • Former House of Fraser Building, Birkenhead, Mon-Fri 9am to 4.15pm (Saturday 10.30am to 2.15pm / Closed Sunday).

Home testing kits can also be collected from the following council buildings:

  • At four central libraries: Bebington, Wallasey, West Kirby and Birkenhead
  • Leisure Centres: Europa, West Kirby and Guinea Gap.
  • Children’s Centres: Families accessing services at Seacombe, Bromborough and Brassey Street, Birkenhead can also collect home testing kits.
