Jack and the Beanstalk to set to sparkle at the Floral Pavilion

Jack and the Beanstalk has been announced as this year’s panto at the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton.

It will star TV sensation Hayley Tamaddon as The Vegetable Fairy. She is well-known for her roles in Emmerdale and Coronation Street and for winning the fifth Dancing on Ice series in 2010.

Joining Hayley is CBeebies Joseph Elliot as Fleshcreep, Blood Brothers star Sean Jones as Simple Simon, Blood Brothers star Joe Sleight as Jack, Tom Sterling as The King, and Rachel Grundy as Jill. Not forgetting Oliver Brooks as the unmissable Dame Trott.

On their farm in Merrydale our hero Jack, his mother Dame Trot, and his brother Simple Simon haven’t a bean to their name. Their friendly cow Daisy has gone dry, and worse still the village is being destroyed by an evil giant.

His wicked henchman Fleshcreep steals the magic harp of Merrydale and kidnaps the beautiful Princess. Join us to see if Jack can save the day, retrieve the harp, and win the heart of the Princess.

Hayley Tamaddon said, “I love panto because it brings friends and family together every Christmas. You can come to the theatre, have two hours of escapism, and join in! You can sing, you can clap, you can cheer and hopefully, you’ll be dancing in the aisles!”

Venue Manager, Pauline Campbell said, “The Floral Pavilion comes alive at Christmas time, and we can’t wait to present another UK Productions pantomime for our audiences.
