Wirral’s only authentic Iberian restaurant, BoBo in West Kirby is launching a new bottomless brunch, following a “phenomenal” start in its new home.
Sunday guests can now expect all their favourite flavours of Portugal and Spain over 90 minutes for as little as £35 per person.
Alongside the traditional Spanish tortilla, batatas bravas, and frittas, the menu features sticky sherry Chicken Marbella cooked in Pedro Ximinez sherry with roast dates, and much more. And, as part of the brunch, everyone receives a Patel de Nata, the delicious traditional custard tart made famous by the monks and nuns of Belém.
Josh Moore, co-owner of BoBo, said, “Our bottomless brunch in Liverpool is hugely popular and after a phenomenal start in our new home it’s time for our Wirral customers to enjoy it too.
“BoBo’s bottomless brunch is less about daytime drinking and more about taking a slow pace enjoying great company with excellent food, delicious and refreshing sangria or an Iberian-themed cocktail.”
The 90-minutes of fun starts at the time of the booking. Guests are asked to order their drink of choice and two tapas plates per person from the selection. Once the drink is finished guests are welcome to order as many as they wish for the duration of their slot. After the hour and a half is up, any further drinks or food ordered will be charged at normal price.
The new Sunday offer is not the only change since BoBo opened in August. The restaurant’s opening menu has advanced as the BoBo team has settled into its new venue.
The menu now features more vegetarian dishes; more fish dishes including barbeque Galician style scallops, grilled sea bass and charcoal mackerel; and more meat dishes including braised pork cheeks and crispy shredded Seville duck.
BoBo’s co-owner Steven Burgess said, “Our ‘opening menu’, as they are known, has proved very popular, and as we’ve found our feet we can now move our offer on, having listened to feedback and understood what our guests particularly enjoy.
“It’s exciting to provide more of the great and good of Iberian cuisine to the area while also allowing the team to flex its capabilities. Our menus will continue to change throughout the year to ensure that we keep them fresh and interesting and to be able to use as much fresh local produce that we can, depending on the season.”
BoBo’s Iberian Bottomless Sunday Brunch launches on October 15 and every Sunday thereafter, running from 12 noon until 5pm, costing £35 per person for 90 minutes.
