Leading law firm Hodge Jones & Allen will celebrate its arrival in Liverpool with a party and fundraiser in support of The Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital Charity (LHCH).
The new office will serve as a hub to access all of the firm’s services but, will initially focus on providing Asbestos, Personal Injury, Medical Negligence, Civil Liberties and Environmental Justice services in the region.
The expansion comes as Hodge Jones & Allen commits to supporting the Liverpool community through outreach local partnerships and legal support presence, offering additional personal law services to an already nationwide practice. This is another important milestone for Hodge Jones & Allen since it opened its doors on Camden High Street, in 1977.
Patrick Allen qualified as a solicitor in 1977 when he founded Hodge Jones & Allen, in London, with Henry Hodge and Peter Jones. The ethos of the firm remains to this day to help individuals assert and defend their rights, deal with personal legal matters and correct miscarriages of justice.
Commenting on this development, Patrick Allen, Co-Founder of Hodge, Jones & Allen said, “Having a base in the magnificent city of Liverpool has been an important next step for Hodge Jones & Allen as we continue to expand our work and our teams into the North of England. Our Asbestos and Environmental Justice team have both recently grown to meet the needs of those we help and represent.
“Forty-five years on and our firm employs 230 staff, all doing important work across diverse and complex areas of the law to make a difference to peoples’ lives. This move into Liverpool gives us the opportunity to help even more people stand up for their rights and support local charities and groups that make a difference to people’s lives.
“We are delighted to be supporting Mary Liley and the team at the Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital Charity. We want to play a truly active part in supporting the incredible work of the hospital in providing specialist cardiothoracic surgery, cardiology and respiratory medicine”
Commenting on the partnership, Mary Liley, Head of Fundraising at The Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital Charity, said, “We are thrilled that Hodge Jones & Allen are supporting us and sharing their party to launch our Charity of the Year Fundraising Competition. I am delighted to that our charity patron Lady Anne Dodd will join us to meet our new supporters. Our thanks to Patrick and his colleagues for making this occasion possible and for caring about the work of our amazing NHS colleagues.
“Our special competition will run for twelve months with the top fundraisers not only receiving our heartfelt thanks and a trophy but also prizes, including an electric bike.”
