Head ‘immensely proud’ of Calday Grange pupil’s GCSE results

Calday Grange Grammar School has reported some excellent GCSE results, as a school and on an individual level.

97% of entries were graded at 4 or above and 94% of students achieved a grade 5 or above in English and maths. Nearly half of all grades were awarded between a 7 and 9.

Mr Stephen Gray, the Headteacher of the school, commented, “I am immensely proud of our students and their results.

“This is the culmination of five years of hard work and it is great to see the smiles on their faces and witness what this means to them. The results are thoroughly deserved and provide an excellent platform to build on in the future.

“In addition, I would like to thank the staff for their hard work and parents and carers for their support. There is no greater thrill than helping young people realise their potential and this would not happen without those key elements.

“I look forward to welcoming back many of the students into the Sixth Form and wish those who are pursuing other avenues every success. I hope that you all remember your time at Calday with fondness.”
