Grand Garden Party for Jubilee at Wallasey Cricket Club

Wallasey Cricket Club is holding a Grand Garden Party on 5 June 2022, to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The party is part of a nationwide celebration to mark the 70-year reign of Queen Elizabeth II. Wallasey Cricket Club at Rosclare Drive will host the Sunday family event from 11.30am as part of a weekend of events at the ground.

Mike Elliott, General Manager, Wallasey Cricket Club, said, “As well as giving us the chance to celebrate HM The Queen’s new status as longest-serving monarch, it’s also a chance for the whole community to get together for the first time in two years.

“We’re all due a bit of a party, and we’re hoping people will come along and celebrate. We’ll have stalls, fun and sideshows for the whole family. Food and drink will be available, but you can also bring your own picnic too, so it doesn’t have to break the bank.”

Attractions include stalls and sideshows, games, inflatables, and fun for the kids as well as for the adults.
There will also be three bars, including the famous Ship and Mitre beer tent.

Spaces are still available to stallholders and food outlets. Organisers would also like to hear from anyone willing to help out on the day, please call Dave Bridge on 07789 554 583 or email bridgey12@hotmail.co.uk for more information.

Tickets are £2 (plus £1 booking fee), available from www.indemandtickets.co.uk The ticket includes a free raffle ticket for every adult attending.
