Anwyl Partnerships has donated £750 to Bebington Scout Group, matching an additional £750 from social housing provider, Magenta Living, which collectively has been used to purchase a potentially lifesaving defibrillator.
Anwyl Partnerships is keen to work with the local community and has match funded this recent donation to help the youth group and charity purchase the defibrillator, an essential life-saving device.
Simon Rose, Construction Director of Anwyl Partnerships explained, “For our business, it’s incredibly important that we work with and support the local community who live and work in the areas that surround our schemes.
“We are in touch with several groups that do make a difference within the local Wirral community, one being Bebington Scouts who are a much-loved children’s organisation operation for many years.
“We’re really pleased to be able to help the club purchase their own defibrillator that will be available for use by the group and wider community.”
Louise Edwards, Senior Development Project Manager at Magenta Living said, “Magenta Living is delighted to be able to contribute towards the cost of a defibrillator for Bebington Scouts Hut and the wider local community.
“It is a vital piece of life-saving equipment, and it’s extremely important to have defibrillators in our communities in case of an emergency. Whilst we hope it will not need to be used, it is reassuring to know that it is on hand for anyone who may require it.”
