Florent Hoti signs short-term contract at Prenton Park

Tranmere Rovers has confirmed the signing of midfielder Florent Hoti on a short-term contract.

Florent began his professional journey with Rochdale, but in 2020, he made the move to Dundee United, where he played nine matches in the Scottish Premiership. Following his time at Dundee United, he also had stints at Forfar and Arbroath.

After training with the team over the past few weeks, the Kosovan U21 player has demonstrated his abilities and caught the attention of the coaches. As a result, Florent is now eligible for selection in the squad.

Caretaker Manager Ian Dawes said, “We’re pleased we’ve been able to add Flo to the squad for the rest of the season. He has trained with us for a while now and we’ve got to know him and what he could add to the team for our remaining games this season.

“It’s no secret that we’ve got an extensive injury list at the moment so bringing Flo in will help us with that situation as well as him adding his qualities into the team.”
