Tranmere Rovers has today launched the final round of their competition for a fan-designed first team shirt for the 2022/23 season.
The final four designs have been shortlisted and professionally produced by our kit manufacturer, Mills Sport and like last year Tranmere will be sticking with the Club’s traditional multi-coloured crest.
The four finalists will each receive a framed copy of their design in recognition of getting this far. But it is now up to you to decide who will be the overall winner and therefore get to see their shirt put into commercial production.
You have between today and midnight on Monday 1 November to vote for your favourite design.
Last year’s kit design winner and Rovers fan, Ben Longthorne said, “It is the best feeling. I’m immensely proud, this kind of thing doesn’t happen, it doesn’t happen to people like me yet it has.”
“Please give it a go, this feeling is like nothing else, it’s a massive honour.”
“The idea of Tranmere wearing this kit that I designed, and in 40 or 50 years time there will be pictures of the team wearing a kit that I designed, is surreal.”
The club will not be revealing which design has won overall until the launch of the new shirt next spring, to which all four of the finalists will be invited.
