Family treasure hunt in Birkenhead this weekend

A treasure hunt suitable for all the family is taking place in Birkenhead this Saturday.

By exploring your local town centre you will find the answer to clues around Hamilton Square. When you have finished the treasure hunt, you can take it to BirkenEd’s Place to win a children’s mini-designer kit or a tote bag.

To take part, head to BirkenEd’s Place, a new pop-up about the future of Birkenhead, between 12 and 4pm on Saturday 26 November. The treasure hunt is suitable for all ages and there’s no need to book – just pop along and get involved.

The route is approximately 3km in length and should take approximately 45-60 minutes, depending on walking speed.

Founder and Director of PLACED, Jo Harrop, said, “For our first weekend, we’re running a free treasure hunt to get people of all ages to explore Birkenhead, learn about its history and have fun exploring their town. There will be mini-designer packs and tote bags as prizes- and it’s completely free to take part!”
