Robert Louis Stephenson’s Treasure Island

The 3rd event in a series with a twist from Our Dee Estuary. John Lamb, a local literary enthusiast reveals the hidden presence of the Wirral in the novel Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. John, who has been researching this and other novels for the past 5 years will explain his findings and how the novels of Jules Verne and Robert Louis Stephenson are so inextricably linked to the Dee Estuary and the Wirral.

This will be an illustrated talk presented by John lasting approximately an hour followed by time for questions and discussion.
