Make a Mosaic

Make a beautiful glass mosaic inspired by a subject of your choice.
During this workshop you will use glass tiles to create a mosaic for your home which can be displayed indoors.
There will be a fabulous selection of beautiful glass tiles to choose from.
You will learn to cut and shape glass tiles and develop a clear understanding of the process of constructing a mosaic, which can be applied to other projects.
Suitable for beginners and those wishing to develop their skills. It will be a small group (max.6) so you will benefit from as much support as you need and lots of encouragement!
You might like to bring along a drawing or photo of something you would like to make. Choose a simple image such as a flower, butterfly or bird. Have a look at Pinterest for some inspiration.
Your finished piece will need to be grouted at home once the adhesive is completely dry – you will be given grout and clear instructions to take home
Mosaic workshops are full of creativity and mindfulness – the perfect way to spend a Saturday!
Lunch can be purchased at the Williamson Art Gallery Cafe or you can bring a packed lunch
This course is not suitable for anyone under 16 years of age
