27 May @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Blackthorn Root brings you an evening of Irish folk music in aid of Restart on the Wirral, a refugee community support group.

Join us for an evening of Irish music, drinks, and dancing.

Blackthorn Root, the Wirral’s favourite Ceilidh band, brings you an evening of Irish folk music in aid of Restart on the Wirral. We’ll be hosting a raffle with some fantastic prizes, including gift baskets with chocolate, wine, and much more. We’ll be announcing winners at the end of the night. You can add your raffle tickets at checkout or buy them in person at the event.

Who Are Restart?

Restart on the Wirral is a community sponsorship group raising funds to settle a refugee family in their neighbourhood. The group of locals are halfway to their fundraising goal of £15,000. If they hit their target, the Home Office will grant indefinite right to remain to a displaced family, as part of the Community Sponsorship program the government established in 2016.

The funds raised will be used to help the refugee family access critical services, housing, and language support.

See You There!

Join us at the West Kirby Arts Centre for a lively evening of Irish music, fun, and dancing.

Ticket sales will end on Thursday 26th of May, at midnight, but cash only tickets will be available on the night of the event.
