Kickstart your journey to health with a 5-week health and wellness course lead by nutrition advisor and personal trainer Mel Nolan
The Course:
Week 1: Food, glorious food!
Did you know it is in our genetic makeup to overeat, crave sugar and fat? You will learn why to help you recognise these cravings, fight them head on, and how to make better food choices. We will also cover calories, food labels, and other fun food stuff!
Week 2: Creating a healthy plate
We will break down government guidelines and learn what makes up a healthy plate of food. We will explore healthy protiens, learn to love veg, and discover easy healthy recipes you can do at home.
Week 3: Exercise
We all know we should do it, but how much is enough? What should we be doing? And why? Let’s explore the science and find out!
Week 4: Sleep and Stress
Getting enough sleep and and managing stress is so important to our wellbeing. We will look at how to get a good night sleep (like, everynight) and ways to conquer stress when it shows its ugly head.
Week 5: Planning for the future
Looking to the future we will work together to come up with a healthy eating and exercise plan that works for you, so you can kick start your new healthy lifestyle!

Date: Tuesdays for FIVE Weeks Starting 18th January
Time: 2x options (you only need to attend one session): Choose from:
10:00am – 11:30am
OR
6:30pm – 8:00pm
5 week in-person training.
Location: @The Office boardroom 26 Thingwall Road, Irby
Format: 1 hour lectures and guided activities with time for discussion
