Easter gardening workshop announced at Cherry Tree Shopping Centre

Cherry Tree Shopping Centre has announced its free Easter event, taking place on Saturday, 30 March, from 10am until 4pm.

Let the little ones immerse themselves in the world of gardening at the Centre’s Easter In Bloom workshop where families can delve into the joys of gardening.

Children will learn all about sustainability while decorating their own biodegradable plant pots and planter sticks. Afterwards, participants can add compost and vegetable seeds into their newly decorated planter which they can take home and plant in the garden.

Cherry Tree Shopping Centre is partnering with local community group Liscard Links to promote their important work and engage with the community. Visit the centre on 30 March to learn more about the wonderful work that they are doing and discover ways to get involved.

“We’re excited to host the Easter In Bloom event at Cherry Tree Shopping Centre,” said Ruth Kavanagh, Centre Administrator at Cherry Tree Shopping Centre. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, have fun, and celebrate the spirit of Easter while also learning about important community initiatives.”

Children are also being encouraged to get creative at home with the centre’s Easter bonnet competition. Families are being invited to showcase their children’s creativity designs on social media for a chance to win a giant easter egg.
