Driver fled scene after colliding with 13-year-old boy

Merseyside Police is searching for a driver who failed to stop following a collision with a 13-year-old boy.

It was reported to police that at around 6.50pm on Monday 18 September, a car being driven on New Chester Road in Rock Ferry collided with a person riding a bicycle.

The 13-year-old boy on the bicycle suffered bruising and concussion and was taken to hospital to be checked over.

The driver failed to stop at the scene and CCTV enquiries are being carried out in the local area.
