Daytime burglary left owner feeling ‘unsafe and vulnerable’

Officers have issued CCTV images of a man who may have information that may assist with police enquiries after it was reported a large flat-screen TV and an Amazon Alexa were stolen from an apartment in Liverpool.

On the morning of Saturday 9 September, police received a report that a large flat-screen TV and an Amazon Alexa had been stolen from a property in Plaza Boulevard.

CCTV and witness enquiries are ongoing to identify the suspect who was reported to have left the apartment between 7.30am and 11.30am on Saturday 9 September.

Officers have now issued two images of a man they believe could assist with their investigation.

Sergeant Kath Topham said, “We are very keen to speak to the man pictured in the building, as we believe he could have vital information about this incident that would help our enquiries.

“This was a despicable offence which left the owner of the apartment feeling unsafe and vulnerable in her own home.

“I want to reassure residents in the area that this was a targeted offence and we are conducting a thorough investigation to find the person responsible

“We think the man pictured may have vital information to help our enquiries so if you know him, please come forward as soon as possible.

“If you recognise him, or the images jogs your memory about any suspicious behaviour you may have seen leaving your address on Saturday morning please do let us know.

“If you hold any relevant information, CCTV or doorbell footage from Saturday 9 September please contact us so we can continue to investigate this incident.”
