After two years at Prenton Park, Josh Dacres-Cogley has departed from Tranmere Rovers, to join Ian Evatt’s Bolton Wanderers.
Cogley will join a highly energetic side always on the front foot, a key asset of his game, and a side vying for the Championship.
The right-back joined Tranmere in 2021 from Birmingham City, and he’s been an ever-present since his arrival, with fans taking to him from the start.
His well-rounded game had seen many League Two defences on the back-foot constantly, and now he has the opportunity to replicate that in the league above with a side who are favourites to go up.
Speaking of Josh’s departure, Tranmere manager Ian Dawes said, “Josh has been fantastic for us over the last two years and I’m sure he’d agree his time at Tranmere has been beneficial for both parties. He’s played really well for the Club and we’ve developed him as a player.”
