Cyclists rushed to hospital after being struck by car

Merseyside Police received reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and two cyclists on Campbeltown Road, Tranmere, at around 10.05am yesterday (Monday 1 March). 

The two female cyclists, aged in their 50s and 60s, were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the blue Hyundai, a man in his 70s, stopped at the scene and assisted police with enquiries.
