Merseyside Police is appealing for information following a report of a collision involving a bus and an e-scooter today, Sunday 3 April.
Police were called just after 10.55am to Great Homer Street, at its junction with Anderson Street, where it was reported the e-scooter rider had sustained a head injury.
The rider, a man in his 20s, has been taken to hospital for treatment.
A section of Great Homer Street was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident, and remains in place while investigations continue.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or may have dashcam footage is asked to DM @MerPolCC on Twitter, message Merseyside Police Contact Centre on Facebook.
