Working alongside Plus Dane housing, Merseyside Police has secured a Closure Order in relation to a house in Dingle.
The order is for 7 Lavrock Bank, Dingle. It was issued at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Thursday 3 November following numerous incidents of anti-social behaviour offences.
A full closure order was granted for a period of three months under section 80 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 and is now in place until Friday 3 February 2023. This means that the tenancy has been terminated by the housing association so the occupier cannot return, and the property will remain closed until February 2023.
Community Policing Inspector David Uren said, “I hope the local community will feel reassured that our officers and Plus Dane Housing have taken action to tackle the anti-social behaviour and criminality that has been caused from this address.
“Whenever we receive reports of antisocial behaviour we will do everything within our powers to work with partners including our local authorities and housing associations to take action and where necessary apply for closure orders
“We understand the crimes that such behaviour leads to and we’ll continue to work closely with residents and our partners to deal with such problems.
“If you experience any offences in our communities please come forward and speak to us when these issues affect you, for all of our benefit.”
