On Monday night Blacon Youth Club kept up the pressure in the CWFL Queensferry Premier Division with a fine 3-1 victory against Helsby 3rds and all the focus will now be on a huge game this coming Saturday (15 April) as first-placed Blacon travel to second Shaftesbury Youth club.

On Wednesday night in the second CWFL Cayzer Shield Semi-Final, set piece specialist Eddie Jebb netted a penalty then bagged a 30-yard free kick and was joined on the score sheet by Iggy McGraa, Paul Kane, and Tom Taafe as Shaftesbury Youth beat Helsby 3rds and will now meet Waggon and Horses in the final.
In the CWFL Tom Gerraghty first round, a brace from Hayden Evans and a single from Tom Cairns sent Chester Nomads Vets through defeating Parkfield Vets 3-1.
In the same competition, Eastham Vets beat Rake & Pikel Vets 3-0 to also progress, Whilst Neston Nomads Vets had Kevin Leech bagging a double and singles from Sam Bunbury, Chris Kennedy, and James Thompson as they ran out 5-2 winners against Hartford Vets to also progress to the next round.
In the CWFL Tarvin Precision Vets Division 2, Ben Powell was a hat-trick hero as Ellesmere Port Red Lions defeated Upton Youth Vets.
