In the CWFL Tarvin Precision Vets Division 2, a superb 25-yard effort from Andy Owens gave Queens Park Vets the lead just before half time against a stubborn Farndon Vets side.
Early in the second half, John Mckay was hacked down in the box and Mike McGree made no mistake from the spot to double Queens’ advantage. Steve Abbot then sealed the win when he finished off a brilliant team goal to send Queens top.

Cotgrave netted straight from a corner and then smashed in a brilliant free kick to put Birkenhead in control only for Lache to level before Victor Thurgill netted the winner for Birkenhead to seal brilliant 3-2 win.

Newton secured their passage through to the next round finally winning 8-7.
Helsby FC Reserves took an early lead against Cestrian Alex, only for Will Kitchin and Arnie Djedje to strike back for Cestrian. A late equalizer for Helsby meant the penalties would decide the game which saw Helsby win 5-4.
Lockdown FC put up a spirited performance but were narrowly defeated by higher league opposition Helsby 1st going down 1-0.
Sutton Rangers crashed to a heavy defeat against Newton Athletic first team as they lost 13-0 whilst Upton JFC Reserves also went out losing 3-1 to Blacon Youth 1st team
