In the CWFL Queensferry Sport Premier Division Waggon and Horses smashed 6 past Helsby, with Waggons goals coming from Billy Fennell, Ellis Moore, Adam Cheers, Chris Varney, and an Aiden Field double.
A Sam Ismay strike, after good work from John Lally, was enough to see Upton JFC defeat Hoole Rangers 1-0. Black Horse, with goals from Matt Holt and Iain Colligan, won 2-0 against Chester Nomads, whilst Neston Nomads‘ recent good form was ended after a 3-0 defeat against Runcorn Sports, with Runcorn’s goals coming from a Rayan Smith double and one from James Bignall. Goals from Lee King and Jake Dean was enough to see Blacon Youth Reserves beat Cestrian Alex 2-0.
In the CWFL Olympic Trophies Championship In some high scoring games, Hoole Rovers FC Beat Rossmore FC 5-1 with Paul Joyner helping himself to a hattrick along with singles from Nathan Moffatt and Sam Culverhouse.
Winsford Saxons, with goals from Zac Finnigan, Robbie Leigh, Owen Mcgelligot and Ryan Hughes, ran out 4-0 winners against Duddon whilst Shaftsbury Youth Reserves recent good form under Kevin Kelly saw them win 4-1, with Paul Kane grabbing a hattrick and a Ben Beattie strike.
In the CWFL Tarvin Precision Vets Division One, goals from Chris McGinn netted and Robbo Courtenay saw Mersey Royal win a close game 2-1 against Higher Bebington Kelma to give them a 1-point lead over Hooton at the top.
In the CWFL Tarvin Precision Vets Division Two, leaders Ashton Vets ran out 5-1 winners against bottom club Frodsham with Ashton’s goals coming from Jonny Waring (2) and singles from Ste Whittaker, Matt Killgallon and Mike Astbury. Winsford Diamonds beat Nags Head 1-0 thanks to a goal from Dave Garstang.
In the EPSV Monday Flexi League, Champs league Warriors beat Ship Argyle 4-2, thanks to a hattrick from James Hudson and a single from Graeme Davidson. Ship replied with goals from Neil Stephens and Tom Anderson.
In the Blacon Monday Flexi League, goals from Dan Clarke, Jamie Kerr, Joe Wilson, and Scott Gray helped UBER to a 4-2 victory against North West Brom who replied through Alex Hamilton and Joe Tulleth.
In another high scoring game, Newton beat Hoole 5-3, with Newton’s goals coming from a Danny Eaton double plus singles from Darren Jones, Liam Bradley and Lewis Davenport, Hoole’s goals coming from a Kieran Carney double and one from Kyle Stoddart.
In the Neston Monday Flexi league, Neston Nomads beat Last Dancers 2-0, thanks to goals from Jack Lloyd and Ollie Dutton. Athletic VH beat Sutton 1-0, with Athletic’s goals coming from Lewis Quail.
In the Warrington Friday Flexi League, Forrest ran out 3-0 winners after a Louis Jameson double and a single from Josh Henshaw. Albion Sport FC won a thriller 4-3 against Redstar, Albion’s goals coming from Simon Cade, Ryan Logsdon, Mike Gregory and Aiden Brown with Ryan Jones (2) and Arron Woodward replying for Redstar.
