On Friday night in the CWFL Tarvin Precision Vets Division 1, Man of the Match Lee Gibson gave Mersey Royal the lead against Shaftsbury Vets finishing smartly after a flowing Royal move, victory was sealed late on when Andy Appo netted the Royal second.
On the next pitch, Ashton Vets put up a spirited display and netted via Luca Trasatti, but Hooton ran out 4-1 winners.

Capenhurst Vets travelled to Higher Bebington Kelma Vets and bagged five goals: Tony Ashton with a brace, Carl Ngiam, Christopher Yew and Armstrong all with singles.
In the CWFL Tarvin Precision Vets Division 2, Lache Vets won by the odd goal in nine against Ellesmere Port Town Vets with Lache goals coming via a hat-trick from Warren Kelly and singles from Chris Hulse and Joey Waters. On the score sheet for Ellesmere Port were Martyn Toner with a double, Todd Ried, and Luke Guest.
Upton Youth Vets went to Tarvin Vets and hit four without reply, with James Mcintosh bagging a hat-trick and a strike from Kev Garland.
