Celebration of Ben Harrison’s life to be held at Prenton Park

On Wednesday, 9 August, Tranmere Rovers reported the passing during the previous night of Associate Director of the Club, and Chairman of the Tranmere Rovers Supporters’ Trust, Ben Harrison.

Both sets of fans observed a minute’s applause on the 60th minute of last weekend’s fixture against Harrogate to celebrate Ben’s life.

A book of condolence has been placed in the club shop so that supporters can share their memories and thoughts.

A statement on the club website says, “Ben was cherished by all within the Tranmere Rovers community. In honour of his memory, both the Club and Ben’s family extend an invitation to join us in commemorating his life at Prenton Park on Sunday, August 27th, at 4pm.

“The commemorative service will take place within Prenton Park, and the entrance to the Kop Stand will be accessible from 3.30pm. We kindly request all attendees to be seated by 3.50pm, in preparation for the service’s commencement at 4pm.

“Following the service, the Fan Park will be open for supporters to gather and remember Ben with a toast.
