Wirral MakeFest is a free community event that aims to cultivate the public’s engagement with makers, inspiring future careers, hobbies, and skills in the community.
MakeFest also aims to raise the visibility of local makers through the event and its accompanying website. The event will take place at Birkenhead Central Library and at Williamson Museum and Art Gallery.
The event is a fusion between art, science and technology: STEAM, and our makers will be from a wide range of arts and sciences, from plastic remoulding to VR and crafts to drama.
MakeFest is now on the lookout for makers and organisations to take part in the inaugural 2023 Wirral MakeFest that takes place on 3 June this year. The organisers are looking for makers, craftspeople, educators, coders, performers, and enablers. If you would like to take part, please fill in this form
