CCTV appeal following thefts from cars in Bromborough

Officers have issued CCTV images of a man who could assist with their enquiries following reports of valuables being stolen from vehicles in Bromborough.

In one incident last month, a number of items were reported stolen from cars parked on Bowness Avenue including a coat, sunglasses and aftershave after vehicles on Bowness Avenue were broken into during the night.

On another evening it was reported that a man had been trying to get into parked vehicles on Pool Lane. Items reported stolen included a laptop, purse and bank cards.

Extensive CCTV and witness enquiries have been conducted, and detectives have issued CCTV images of a man they believe could assist in their investigation.

Tim Cottrell, Community Policing Sergeant for Bromborough, said, “I am appealing to the man featured in these images, or anyone who recognises him to come forward. We believe he could hold information that could be vital to our continuing enquiries.”
