Cast announced for the national tour of SIX at Liverpool Playhouse

For the Christmas season, the multi-award-winning musical SIX will be on stage at Liverpool Playhouse from Tuesday 6 December 2022 to Sunday 8 January 2023.

Fresh off its Grammy nomination for Best Musical Theatre Album, SIX’s songs have been streamed over 19 million times and the live performance of the show is described as one of the most uplifting pieces of British musical theatre in recent years that pushes boundaries and takes your breath away.

Written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, two Cambridge University students who took SIX to the Edinburgh Fringe as a student show and it became a smash hit. SIX tells the personal stories of the six wives of Henry VIII, remixing five hundred years of historical heartbreak into an 80-minute celebration of 21st-century girl power. Six wives compete for the audience’s sympathy over who has been treated worst by Henry, who never appears in SIX.
