The Brighter Bebington volunteer group was established in 1992 and is this year celebrating its 30th birthday.
This coming Saturday (3 December) the group is holding its popular annual Christmas Fair and Carol Concert which will take place at 12 noon in Pennant Square, between The Rose & Crown pub and Mayer Hall.
The Lyceum Brass Band will be keeping everybody in tune and the Thwaites Shire Horses will be in attendance from 1.30 until about 3pm. The Bebington Bittermen male choir will also be singing for their supper and local singer Ray Taylor will be belting out a festive tune or two.
There will also be festive Christmas stalls where might be able to pick up some Yuletide gifts and the famous Naughty Or Nice Machine will be on hand with chocolate coins to reward all the children who have been very good this year.
The Pennant Square Christmas tree will be switched on around 4pm followed by the Carol Concert itself, so dress up warm and bring the family along for some good old Festive Fun.
Finally at 7pm, the annual Christmas raffle in support of Brighter Bebington’s Christmas lights will be held the Rose & Crown, with some fantastic prizes that have been donated by local businesses and families and individuals.
