Boy threatened with knife and robbed in Birkenhead

Merseyside Police is appealing for information following a report of a robbery in Birkenhead on Tuesday 4 July.

Just before 9.15pm, it was reported to the police that two males approached a 13-year-old boy on Argyle Street South and stated they had a knife and punched him in the face.

The two offenders then made off with his bike towards Hinderton Road.

The victim sustained bruising to the face and was very shaken by the incident. At no point was a weapon seen by the victim.

The bike was later found abandoned nearby.
