A woman was yesterday, Thursday 1 September, charged with robbery after an elderly man suffered an injury to his head.
On Monday 22 August it was reported that a woman forced her way into an address around 2pm causing a man inside to bang his head.
The woman then stole a quantity of cash before leaving the property.
Angela Patricia Burns of Birkenhead was arrested on Wednesday 31 August and has now been charged with robbery.
She appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton and St Helens Remand Court this morning and was remanded into custody.
The next hearing is at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday 30th September
