Birkenhead security firm awarded Wirral Waters contract

Waterside regeneration specialists Peel Waters have recently awarded the security contract for the entire Wirral Waters regeneration scheme to City of Liverpool Security.

With previous experience in different projects at Wirral Waters, and having already been appointed to Peel’s housebuilding division, Northstone, Birkenhead based City of Liverpool Security is now set to play a crucial role in safeguarding key sites, including Hythe, Redbridge Quay, and Woodside Business Park.

The security services provided by City of Liverpool Security will encompass monitored CCTV, mobile patrols and response, locking and unlocking services, as well as the inspection of reach and rescue points along the dock edges.

Established in 2016, City of Liverpool Security boasts the prestigious NSI Gold accreditation, the highest standard in the CCTV industry. The company’s nationwide presence and continued growth showcase its dedication to delivering top-tier security solutions.

City of Liverpool Security is headquartered at Woodside Business Park, one of the key sites within Wirral Waters. Having initially moved to Woodside in 2017, the company is expanding its operations to larger premises within the business park to accommodate its growing workforce.

Kevin Cooper, Director of City of Liverpool Security, commented, “This new contract builds on the already great relationship we have with Peel and allows us to expand our local footprint. As a Birkenhead business, it’s also wonderful to be involved with such a significant local regeneration project.”

Bill Devereux, Asset and Project Manager at Wirral Waters, added, “We actively seek strong local businesses that can deliver top-quality services across Wirral Waters, and we are pleased to award this critical security contract to City of Liverpool Security.”
