Birkenhead man charged with possession of a knife

Merseyside Police has charged a man from Birkenhead following an incident on Thursday 2 March.

At around 5pm, Merseyside Police received a report of a disturbance on Bentinck Street.

Charlie Farragher, 23, of Birkenhead, has been charged with possession of a knife/blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton Adult Remand Court tomorrow (Saturday 4 March).
