Birkenhead drug dealers tried to sell drugs to plain clothes cops

Whilst on plain clothes patrol in Birkenhead last night, officers from Operation Remove were approached by a male, aged 21 from Birkenhead, who attempted to sell them drugs.

This resulted in the male being arrested for Possession with Intent to Supply Class B drugs.

Further investigation by the officers led to a related property in Birkenhead being searched.

At this property, a second male, aged 23 also from Birkenhead, was arrested after a large quantity of suspected cannabis, a large amount of cash, a zombie knife, and other related items were recovered by officers.

The second male was also arrested for Possession with Intent to Supply Class B and both males further arrested for Possession of Criminal Property and Possession of an Offensive Weapon in private.

Both were conveyed to custody and the investigation is on-going.
