If you’re interested in participating in an exciting local history project, Bidston Memories Day is taking place at Bidston Observatory this weekend, Sunday 3 September.
The local community are invited to come and share their memories of the site when it was active in Natural Earth Science Research, presenting objects, stories, and other artefacts that connect them to the building.
A spokesperson for the event said, “Whether you have stories of Bidston Hill, instruments used by scientists or knowledge of historical pagan rituals, members of Bidston Observatory are excited to welcome you to the building.
“Participants will be offered tea and cake in return for their contribution – we’re looking
forward to see you there!”
