Bebington Christmas Fair set to be ‘the best yet’

Bebington Christmas Fair is set to be the best yet, according to its organisers.

The fair takes place this Saturday, 4 December at Pennant Square, between Mayer Hall and the Rose & Crown public house.

George Lamb, of Brighter Bebington, told birkenhead.news, “After the difficult couple of years we’ve all experienced, and after not being able to hold our annual fair last year, we hope to make this year’s Bebington Christmas Fair the best one yet. We hope to see as many people there as possible.”

The fair takes place from 12 noon and visitors can expect craft stalls and independent traders, Thwaites Shire Horses, The Mersey Morris Men, The Lyceum Brass Band, Bebington Bitter Mens’ Choir, food stalls and licensed bar, mulled wine and mince pies

The real Father Christmas will also be paying Bebington a visit.

There will also be carol singing and the Christmas lights switch-on which will take place at 4.30pm.

At 7pm there will be the annual Christmas raffle inside the Rose & Crown with some amazing prizes donated by local business and individuals to be given away.
