An arts market will once again be held on Market Street in Hoylake, alongside the popular The Ship Inn, where you will find areas to relax, catch up, enjoy a handcrafted craft ale, and take in some refreshments.
After piloting a series of outdoor art markets with local pub owners Lol and Vic from the Ship Inn in 2022, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, resulting in the return of this beautiful Hoylake Artisan Market in 2023.
The market supports local businesses and encourages vibrancy in the high street.
Showcasing the most carefully crafted handmade gifts, original art, and the tastiest food, that last event saw visitors travel from far and wide, including from Cheshire, Chester, Liverpool, and Wales.
You can discover homeware, handmade fashion, original art, sweet and savoury treats, freshly baked bread, gluten-free and vegan cuisine, handmade chocolates, children’s wear, contemporary knits, fused glass, wood-crafting, and much more.
Mandy Garcia of Artisan Network, said, “The community from Hoylake and further afield have been an integral part of the ongoing success of our handmade market at the Ship Inn.
“Each market day is getting bigger as the positive word spreads. With something to suit everyone’s varied tastes and pocket size, it’s fantastic to see visitors to the market staying for hours and leaving with bags and a big smile.
“Budding artists and creatives are welcome to join us as we encourage passionate newcomers by providing gazebos for those who just want to give it try!”
This is a once-a-month arts market beginning on 25 March and ending on 25 November with a Christmas Frost Fair.
Saturday “pop up” 25 March 2023, 11am – 4pm. 80 Market St, Hoylake, Wirral. CH47 3BB Dog and family friendly.
