Arrests following armed robbery in Tranmere

Detectives have charged two men following an armed robbery in Tranmere last weekend.

At around 9.50pm on Sunday, 21 April, two men reportedly entered PSV Food and Wine on Derby Road and stole cash, cigarettes, and alcohol.

Following enquiries, two men were arrested.

Mark Gardener, 29, has been charged with Robbery and Possession of a knife in a public place.
Kurtis Lamptey, 22, has been charged with Robbery.

Both men were remanded in custody to appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court on Tuesday, 23 April.
