A man has been arrested after two people were assaulted on Saturday 9 September.
Just before 8.30pm, police received a report that a man had threatened a woman with a knife and assaulted her inside a house on the Meadow in Woodchurch.
The woman was left with bruises to her body after the attack.
A 32-year-old man from Woodchurch was arrested on suspicion of assault.
Whilst in police custody it was reported that an emergency worker was also attacked by the man.
The man has now been released on bail with conditions.
