Merseyside Police has arrested a woman on suspicion of drink driving following a road traffic collision on Arrowe Park Road yesterday evening (Thursday 14 April.)
At around 8.45pm, police received a report that the driver of a white Mini Countryman drove into several gravestones at Landican Cemetery.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service attended and safely removed the driver from the vehicle.
A 70-year-old woman from Wirral was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
She has been taken into custody for questioning.
Forensic and witness enquiries are ongoing in the area.
