Apter signs for Tranmere until end of season

Tranmere Rovers has announced that the club has reached an agreement with Blackpool for the loan signing of Rob Apter until the end of the 2023/24 season.

Apter displayed an exemplary attitude throughout his initial loan spell which ended last week, and endeared himself to the Rovers faithful through his eye-catching performances.

The 20-year-old has made a total of 21 appearances for Rovers so far this term, scoring five goals and assisting twice.

Manager Nigel Adkins said, “We’re delighted to have Robbie Apter back with Tranmere Rovers until the end of the season. His efforts towards our performances in the first half of the season were huge, and we’re very happy to have reached an agreement to extend his stay here at Prenton Park.”

On extending his stay, Rob said, “I’m made up. As soon as I knew I was wanted back, it was the only thing I wanted to do.”

The club has thanked the Southern Super White Army whose sponsorship of the player has enabled the loan agreement to take place.
