Detectives have issued CCTV images following an assault on North John Street in Liverpool.
At around 3am on Saturday 9 October a disturbance occurred between a group of men. A man was kicked in the head by another man on the street.
CCTV and witness enquiries have been carried out near the scene and detectives have issued images they believe could assist with their investigation.
Detective Inspector Stephen O’Neil said, “This was a dangerous and reckless attack that could have left the victim seriously injured.
“I am appealing to anyone featured in these images, or anyone who recognises the man, to come forward. We believe it could hold vital information to our continuing enquiries.
“The incident happened during a busy time of the night when people would have been leaving bars, venues and nightclubs in the area. If you were on North John Street at around 3pm and witnessed the incident or anything suspicious and have captured images of the group of men on Saturday morning please contact police as a matter of urgency.”
