Anselmians to host North West Leagues cup finals

Anselmians Rugby Club is hosting The North West Leagues (NOWIRUL) cup finals this coming Saturday, 29 April.

The event is the culmination of intense competitions involving teams from across the North West. Four finals will be held, on the day, at the Anselmians RUFC ground in Eastham.

The first final kicks-off at 11am featuring Port Sunlight vs Eccles 3rd team. Next up are Eagle v Northwich 2nds at 12:45pm. There is little pause in the action when Preston Grasshoppers 3’s take on Fylde Saracens 3rd’s at 2.30 p.m. and then the culmination of the day pits Sedgley Park 2nd team against Chester 2nd’s at 4.15 p.m.

There is plenty for rugby fans and sport enthusiasts alike throughout the day. You can spectate for the whole day or just drop by to take in a festival of rugby, enjoy a BBQ and some Anselmians hospitality.

A spokesperson for Anselmians Rugby Club said, “We feel privileged to have been chosen to host the finals day. It will be a delight to welcome the competing teams, their supporters and anyone just wanting to see live rugby for the first time to our fantastic new clubhouse and facilities”.
