13-year-old boy injured in collision with police vehicle

Merseyside Police is appealing for information following a road traffic collision involving a police vehicle in Liverpool on 8 November.

At around 3.50pm it was reported that three bikes were riding towards a police vehicle on Southdean Road when one bike was involved in a collision.

The rider of the electric bike, a 13-year-old boy, sustained a serious leg injury and is in hospital receiving treatment.

An investigation into the collision is being carried out and police are appealing for anyone who saw the incident, or who has dashcam footage, to come forward.
